In 2019, The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival hosted seven free community events throughout the lower mainland. Each festival offered 20+ Food Trucks with options for all food sensitivities/preferences, an artisan marketplace featuring local small businesses, live music and roaming entertainment for all adults, families & children.

To enhance guest experience, the GVFTF was extended an extra hour operating from 11 am – 6 pm. The festival’s average attendance rate also increased from 2018, with over 6,000 guests per event or 43,000 total patrons.

In addition to the increase in festival attendance, social media presence has also increased by 21%.

The festival’s primary audience includes young families and middle aged men & women from their respective communities. Men and women aged 25-45 consist of 45% of our social media following, with women representing 75% of total followers.

Planning for 2020
As we look forward to 2020, the GVFTF is looking to grow our events and establish partnerships with sponsors to create new activation’s that will benefit both sponsors and our festival-goers. We strongly encourage transparency and clear communication with our sponsors, city officials, business owners and festival participants to attract new ideas to help innovate and improve the festival year after year.

The GVFTF supports several rapidly growing communities across the lower mainland. Through our events, sponsors can reach a wide range of new and existing clients, while increasing brand awareness in each city. We support our sponsors through extensive on-site branding, live DJ shoutouts and designated premium site locations for brand activation at each event.

In addition, we help reinforce and solidify connections with target audiences through sponsor mentions in pre, on-site and post-event social media and email newsletters. Sponsors will also enjoy meal tickets to each event to use for client or staff appreciation.
