Dogzilla Dog

Dogzilla is the culinary evolution of a classic American Staple, the hot dog. Fused together with ingredients only imaginable to the adventurous palette, Dogzilla is quickly becoming a favorite among the local Southern California food truck crowd. Dogzilla can best be described with one phrase: “Not Your Typical Wiener”. – Dogzilla Hot Dogs
  • 1 Pack All Beef frank
  • 2 Grilled Yellow Onions
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 cup Bacon bits
  • 1 cup Furikake (you can substitute your own mixture of finely chopped sushi seaweed and sesame seeds)
  • Teriyaki Sauce (your favorite teriyaki in a bottle will do)
  • Japanese Mayo (substitute “Duke’s Mayo” or your favorite brand)
  • KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Dinner Rolls


  1. Cut 3 KING’S HAWAIIAN Rolls 3/4 down from middle (make sure buns are still connected)
  2. Cut avocado (will use about 3 slices per dog)
  3. Boil your hot dog for 3 min
  4. Grill onions in pan. Remove from heat
  5. Toast sides of bun in pan
  6. Place dog in bun then grilled onions and avocado slices on top
  7. Drizzle with Japanese mayo and teriyaki sauce
  8. Sprinkle furikake and bacon bits
  9. Enjoy!
