Dogzilla is the culinary evolution of a classic American Staple, the hot dog. Fused together with ingredients only imaginable to the adventurous palette, Dogzilla is quickly becoming a favorite among the local Southern California food truck crowd. Dogzilla can best be described with one phrase: “Not Your Typical Wiener”. – Dogzilla Hot Dogs
Ingredients:
- 1 Pack All Beef frank
- 2 Grilled Yellow Onions
- 1 Avocado
- 1 cup Bacon bits
- 1 cup Furikake (you can substitute your own mixture of finely chopped sushi seaweed and sesame seeds)
- Teriyaki Sauce (your favorite teriyaki in a bottle will do)
- Japanese Mayo (substitute “Duke’s Mayo” or your favorite brand)
- KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Dinner Rolls
Directions:
- Cut 3 KING’S HAWAIIAN Rolls 3/4 down from middle (make sure buns are still connected)
- Cut avocado (will use about 3 slices per dog)
- Boil your hot dog for 3 min
- Grill onions in pan. Remove from heat
- Toast sides of bun in pan
- Place dog in bun then grilled onions and avocado slices on top
- Drizzle with Japanese mayo and teriyaki sauce
- Sprinkle furikake and bacon bits
- Enjoy!
