Our Story
How we started
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival’s story began in 2015 as the Fraser Valley Food Truck Festival. While a lot has changed in the last 7 years our founding principles are still the same:
We support small businesses through value-based community connections & events.
It’s no secret the past five years have been challenging for the event industry. Pre-pandemic our free community events brought together 10,000 people to enjoy a selection of 20-25 food trucks, 20 market vendors, live and roaming entertainers and community activations. We visited cities such as Langley, Surrey, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge and Port Moody.
